|
|
Demand and supply |
|
| If we compare above 2
columns both are with same mind and nature. Only the
differences is one is provider and one is receiver. Both
are ready to give and take. |
| Therefore Actual Concept for first ongoing project:
|
- To train from basic computer class to presentation
related software.
- To train 2nd necessary Language for e.g. English
- To provide internship and then service with outsource
job from Kathmandu based organizations
- To empower youth in Photography, Videography,
Multimedia Presentation development, Website
Development, Packaging, Trainer development for the
institute.
- To build Computer Workstation in Village community.
- To build Small Offset Press
- Moreover, y cafe will establish Multimedia Design and
Production Unit for national and international
organization
With above concept, experience and hassle of skillful
manpower, we 'y cafe' were in search of the place and
people at remote area where we can establish training
center and production unit. Here we necessary to mention
an important name Suraj Bajracharya who helped us to
find the area. He had described about the 2 villages
i.e. Dhustung, Deurali, Thimure VDC; Palpa District &
Varse VDC, Gulmi District. Therefore we carry out
Primary feasibility Test respectively. Our focused group
is secondary and higher secondary class (10+2) student
and interested youth. is need assessment test typically
focused on English language, Qualification, general
knowledge, Psycho-social, socio-economic status,
role-model and their interest in project. (P see the
report). We took individual and group interview. We had
great discussion with honorable personnel, educationist
and village community people as well. This helped us to
gain essential support and respect from community people
and lead us to determine that y-café project can be
established in both VDC. |
|
Project in Dhustung:
|
Dhusung Deurali is located in Thimure VDC, Palpa
District. This village is not equipped with fundamental
development like Electricity, Transportation, Health
Care Center, Transportation, and Campus for Higher
education. Here name Dhustung is highlighted because
it’s the hill where only one school named Shree Narayan
Secondary School has been established. We conducted our
feasibility test or need assessment test. School runs
from 10 AM to 3:30 PM. This is the school where all the
students from 5-6 villages get to study Secondary level.
Students walk for 15 minutes to 2 hours to study. This
made us realize that students are really eager to have
education and learning.
Geography structure: Open Hilly region
Feasibility test Report: available in other word
document
Our Planning: We have said above this area is lacking
every fundamental infrastructure. Thus there is no
electricity and y-café project can be run only if there
is electricity. But still here is one possibility of
Solar system energy. As there are so many organization
are working for solar installation that provide subsidy
for VDC. Every villager sees y-café can bring major changes for
youth lifestyle and village too. Therefore, with the
support of villagers, we are taking below steps.
i) Applied for the subsidy for the installation of Solar
System (This will take 2months) ii) Build the Training Center in Shree Narayan Secondary
Premises iii) Furniture Making
Note: As above things had been constructed and developed
y-café project will start with 6 computers. At the mean
time students will get some tuition for SLC level
student.

How the Concept Emerged: |
|
The concept was not only simply clicked in the mind.
First of all it clicked when we were working in longtail
e-media. Here it is very necessary to give short
introduction of it. longtail e-media is a private
organization established in 2003. It's basic objective
is to develop presentations as a form of website and
Interactive Multimedia presentation for national and
international organization. Till the date every
presentation developed by longtail e-media is
appreciated by its esteemed clients. Therefore it always
tried to develop manpower for from the urban area. As
Kathmandu is the capital of enormous opportunity, youths
mind diverted through the period of training. Therefore
it lacked youth with stable but versatile mind.
Eventually, Bishwas mind was clicked that village could
be the best place. Demand and supply could be possible
when an individual seek for it. Simply giving is not
enough. There should be intention of taking. Then the
person keeps anything safely and pricelessly. So the
mind of youths in village. Where both of ours i.e. youth
and longtail e-medias interest meet the same point. |
